My rates for music lessons, events and commissions. Please contact with specific information about your event or commission for a more representative quotation as prices may differ. Payments can be made via bank transfer and details are provided upon confirmation of the service booking.

Music Lessons

Beginner Violin and Piano Lessons

Beginner Violin and Piano Lessons - Online and Face to Face - House visits are available at an additional cost. 

International online lessons are also available and prices are quoted in USD

 

Per Lesson - $4,000JM/ $40US - 50min sessions

Per Month - $15,000JM/ $150US - covers up to 4 50min sessions

Per 8 Lessons - $30,000JM/ $300US - covers up to 8 50min sessions (Payments should be made ahead of the first lesson)

Advanced Violin Lessons

Advanced Violin Lessons - Online and Face to Face - House visits are available at an additional cost. 

International online lessons are also available and prices are quoted in USD

 

Per Lesson - $5,500JM/ $55US - 50min sessions

Per Month - $20,000JM/ $200US - covers up to 4 50min sessions

Per 8 Lessons - $40,000JM/ $400US - covers up to 8 50min sessions (Payments should be made ahead of the first lesson)

 

Coaching

Coaching sessions to work on the style and interpretation of a particular piece of music you are working on. Lessons last for 45 mins or 80 mins and are available for any instrument

Cost: 45 mins - $8,000JM/ $80US

80 mins - $12,000JM/ $120US

Where are in-person lessons held?

In-person lessons are held in Kingston, Jamaica

Do you do house visits?

Yes, but only to select locations in Kingston, and will often require an additional fee. Reach out with your specific case to see if this option is available.

How can I access virtual lessons?

Online lessons take place via zoom or google meet and the link is provided upon payment for the lesson.

How do I determine if I'm a beginner or a more advanced musician?

Beginners rates apply to students up to and including ABRSM Grade 5

Advanced rates apply to students at the ABRSM Grade 6-8 level

Musical coaching applies to students at the ABRSM Diploma level or higher, or if you are looking for a one off lesson in a masterclass setting

What if I want to do more than one class per week or more than four classes in a month?

That is possible, you would be charged the 8 session rate. Please get in touch with your specific circumstances to get the appropriate rate

What if I want to do lessons that are more or less than an hour

Compositions and Arrangements

Commissions start with a consultation session to determine the feasibility of your request. The consultation fee is $3,000JM/$30US and the base rate for arrangements is $5,000/$50 and starting rate for original compositions is $10,000JM/$100US.
